Hi, I’m Betsy.
I’m a licensed therapist, substance use counselor, clinical supervisor and a person in long-term recovery from substance use. I am passionate about bringing solid, research-based information to my fellow therapists about drugs and alcohol.
Like many of you, I didn’t get enough training about substance use and had to figure it out on my own. That was a long and tedious road.I am committed to helping colleagues gain the information they need without having to track it down themselves.
Clincally speaking, I stepped down from being the director of a community mental health agency in 2019 and went into private practice. I love being able to work from home! I live in the woods of NW Wisconsin with my husband, two kittens (Mica and Eden) and with my two grown daughters living nearby.
What if I have to miss the live webinar?
If you have to miss the live webinar (it could be middle of the night for some of you!) there will be a replay and downloadable slides. This will be emailed to you within 12 hours of the event.
Are there Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)?
There are no official CEU’s. However, if you would like a certification of completion you may email and ask for one. Some boards allow you to submit hours that have not been pre-approved for consideration (State boards vary).
Will I have to talk, do a role-play or be assigned to a small group?
No. An emphatic no. We have a short time period for this training. Although, I will make some time for questions.
What is your refund policy?
The replay will be available to all and so no refunds will be needed (or given). You won’t miss a thing!
